Signage and Graphics Artwork Designer
Role Overview:
Our client is a signage company who design, manufacture and install signage solutions across a variety of industries. They are looking for a talented Artwork Designer and your key role will be turning creative concepts into production-ready artwork while ensuring every detail is perfected.
Our client offers a salary of between £28,000 and £32,000 dependent on experience. The role is office based and the hours are 08.30am – 5.00pm.
Your Role as a Artworker / Designer:
In this dynamic role, no two days are the same. You’ll:
* Create precise and accurate artwork for client proofs and production processes, adhering to brand guidelines or survey specifications.
* Prepare files for printing by ensuring all images and artwork are correctly scaled and ready for production.
* Contribute to projects across a variety of formats, including wall graphics, internal and external signage, manifestation, large-format, and small-format printing.
* Follow projects from concept to completion, gaining insights into the entire production process.
* Digest and apply a wide range of information quickly to meet project requirements.
While the majority of the work is technical, there’s plenty of room to bring your own flair and creativity. The ideal candidate will be eager to make this role their own.
What You Bring to the Table
Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator: Speed and precision are essential for this role.
* Working knowledge of other Adobe Suite programs like Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to ensure all artwork is proofread and error-free.
* A strong sense of organization and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
* Confidence in working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments – from senior management to production and installation teams.
* Professional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
Mindset
* A keen eye for detail and a conscientious approach to your work.
* A willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new processes and technologies.
* A self-starter with a proactive attitude to tackling challenges and meeting deadlines.
While not essential, the following skills would give you an edge:
* Knowledge of print production processes.
* Familiarity with materials and signage fixing methods.
* Experience with Summa cutting equipment.
* Previous experience handling manifestation and signage projects.
