Hours - 8:30-3:30
Pay - GBP120 - GBP170

This is an opportunity based across the Wakefield area, both long and short term opportunities at Batley based schools that have great reputations and are known to foster a supportive and positive environment both for pupils and staff.
The role itself will be to effectively teach designated pupils and to undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties in order to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils in the absence of their regular class teacher.

The successful candidate will:
*Have previous teaching/lecturing experience
*Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
*Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
*Have effective verbal and written communication
*Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
*Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
*Experience with SEND/SEMH needs in a mainstream setting is desirable
*Strong behaviour management techniques
