Qualiteach are currently recruiting for a number of permanent Teaching Assistant vacancies on the behalf of one of our client SEN settings within Leeds

The school itself is a nuturing setting that is guided by a passionate Senior Leadership Team who place a huge emphasis on supporting learners to reach their full potential.

Applicants must have previously gained SEN support experience within a school setting, or have experience supporting individuals with complex needs in a care/support work background.

Duties of the role:

* Working across various classes within the school

* De-escalating challenging behaviour

* Personal care

* 1:1 and group work

* Supporting small groups within the class

What you will need:

A range of behaviour management techniques

*

To have worked with learners with a range of needs

*

The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods

*

Experience working within a primary school and/or working with young people
