About the role:
The role involves collaborating with a team of architects, urban designers, and technicians to deliver landscape-led masterplans and development projects for housebuilders across England. It's an exciting opportunity for career growth and contributing to shaping the built environment. The ideal candidate will be recently chartered with over three years of post-degree experience; however, more experienced candidates on the Pathway to Chartership are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working on landscape projects.
• Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.
• Strong design flair and technical knowledge.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop as a professional.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the landscape director with landscape planning and design projects.
• Conduct site visits and take photographs.
• Develop landscape design drawings, including masterplans and detailed layouts for hard and soft landscaping features.
• Prepare baseline plans for Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA).
• Contribute to reports, including landscape assessments and Design and Access Statements.
