Automotive Mechanic Opportunity – Watford Area

Position: Automotive Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
Location: Watford Area (Exact location disclosed to shortlisted candidates)
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing car supermarket with over 250+ used vehicles in stock.

The Role

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a key role in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles in line with manufacturer standards

* Conduct road tests when required to confirm and resolve faults

* Mentor and support apprentice technicians to develop their skills

* Maintain workshop space, tools, and equipment to a high standard

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience as a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician

* Your own tools

* A full and valid UK driving licence

* Strong understanding of health and safety standards within a workshop setting

Desirable (but not essential):

* MOT Tester qualification

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology

The Package

* Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (based on experience)

* Hours:

* Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 18:00

* Saturday: 09:00 – 15:00
