Senior Software Engineer with proven commercial experience in Python v 3.10 or above required by a high tech company in Staines. The Senior Software Engineer will be working on Python-based microservices and back-office utilities that complement the company's core platform which is built on Java.

Hybrid remote working. 3 days per week in the office in Staines.

The successful Senior Software Engineer is likely to have a relevant degree in Computer Science or similar subject and strong commercial Python development experience in ideally from a microservices environment.

Key experience

Python v 3.10 or above
Containerised deployment
Continuous integration tools
RESTful services
Version control, bug tracking etc

Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite

Pydantic
FastAPI
Python Linting
RESTful services
Java
One or more web application frameworks eg React
Node
