About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN-TA – Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist to join our compassionate team. This role has become available due to the addition of new students needing specialised support.

As a vital staff member, you will work one-on-one with non-verbal autistic students, providing essential support and care. We offer you a commitment to extensive training, mentorship, and resources to ensure you succeed and grow in your career.

Application Requirements:

• A strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly in non-verbal communication.

• Experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one support to non-verbal autistic students.

• Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.

• Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to monitor and report on student progress.

• Engage students in both academic and extracurricular activities to promote holistic development.
