Manual Tester – 12 Month Contract – Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35) – London – Investment Banking

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester for a 12-month initial contract with a leading investment bank in London, offering a hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing within the financial services sector and hands-on experience with OPF (Open Platform Framework).
In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of banking systems through meticulous manual testing. You will work closely with development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of financial applications and systems, including functional, regression, and system testing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Test Case Development: Design, develop, and maintain detailed and comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Test Execution: Execute test plans, document test results, and identify, log, and track defects to ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure effective testing coverage.
Reporting: Provide regular status reports and test summaries to stakeholders, highlighting key issues and progress.
Issue Resolution: Actively participate in defect triage meetings and collaborate with developers to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Documentation: Maintain and update testing documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect logs, to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Manual Testing Expertise: Proven experience in manual testing, particularly within the financial services sector or investment banking.
OPF Experience: Hands-on experience with Open Platform Framework (OPF) or similar technologies.
Testing Tools: Familiarity with common testing tools and platforms for defect tracking and test management.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify issues.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in test execution and documentation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Documentation: Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation.

12 Month Initial Contract
Day Rate: Up to £600/day (Inside IR35)
Location: London 2-3 Days a week
