Full-Time LSA (Learning Support Assistant) - Barry

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a primary school in Barry on a full-time basis, working in a KS2 class. The role is to cover a maternity leave, likely starting in late November.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Assisting children in small group settings, particularly in numeracy and literacy
Providing 1:1 support to pupils where required, ensuring their academic and social needs are met
Supporting the development of individual education plans (IEPs) for children with additional needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a supportive classroom environment
Helping with classroom preparation and resourcesKey Details:

Full-time position (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Pay: £84 per day
Must have previous experience as an LSA in a primary school
