Our client is now looking for Production Manager.
Production Manager: Main Duties and Responsibilities
Fabrication Project and Production Management
• Oversee fabrication projects and production processes, from prototyping to large-scale bespoke projects, whether produced in-house or through external partners.
• Serve as the primary link between the fabrication department and the project management team to ensure effective communication on live projects, resolving customer issues to their satisfaction.
• Interpret client and staff briefs into actionable fabrication orders.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring collaboration and consultation with relevant departments.
• Manage on-site builds and installations to ensure client satisfaction.
• Uphold company policies and Health and Safety standards.
Job Management
• Use MIS system to quote jobs accurately.
• Translate orders into clear, actionable briefs for design, production, packing, and installation teams, including the creation of spreadsheets and presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure project timelines are met, providing updates to clients and project managers.
• Prepare detailed installation briefs for bespoke projects.
• Track projects through production to ensure smooth workflow.
• Facilitate clear communication of project requirements to manufacturers, including the use of drawings for presentation or machining as needed.
Core Knowledge Base
• Working knowledge of CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with tools, machinery, engineering principles, and production processes.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable media practices, with a focus on waste management.
• Ability to interpret and work with technical packs from external sources.
• Resourcing and retail sector knowledge, particularly in visual merchandising.
• Understanding of internal systems, policies, and procedures.
Essential Skills and Attributes
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple, varied projects simultaneously.
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Background in customer service is beneficial.
• Experience in retail visual merchandising is ideal.
• Knowledge of the print industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
Teamwork and Collaboration
• Positive and clear communication with all team members and leadership is essential for successful project completion.
Additional Responsibilities
• Flexibility to work on additional bespoke projects as required to expand individual skills.
• Perform tasks assigned by Directors or department heads.
• Adhere to and promote health and safety and sustainability protocols with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

• A quick learner with a proactive approach will thrive in this role, adapting to new challenges and responsibilities with ease
