Job Advert: Full-Time Student Support Assistant

Here at Tradewind we are working closely with a college located in the borough of Hounslow in seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant to join their team in a full-time capacity, working Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:40 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to pupils, particularly those with behavioural difficulties.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
Support individual pupils' educational and emotional development.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with pupils with behavioural difficulties.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A positive attitude and commitment to helping pupils succeed.

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

Have experience working with Secondary ages students
Strong classroom management
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
Provide Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
Provide professional reference checks.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:40 PM
