Financial We are partnering with a PE-backed SME manufacturer to support in their search for a Qualified Financial Controller. Based at their brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Leeds, and reporting directly to an experienced CFO, this position offers a unique blend of technical and commercial accounting and an opportunity to bring valuable insights, leadership, and a proactive approach to support the business on their exciting growth journey as they expand into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Part of the senior leadership team providing strategic decision-making support.

*

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team.

*

Preparation of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow.

*

Budgeting and forecasting.

*

Variance analysis with commentary.

*

Preparation of statutory accounts.

*

Improvement of financial controls and processes.

*

Manage relationships with external auditors.

*

Support with any ad-hoc projects.

Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

*

ACCA, CIMA, ACA Qualified or equivalent.

*

Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.

*

Experience of leading and developing a small finance team.

*

Knowledge of various ERP systems.

*

Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

*

Advanced Excel.

Compensation Package:

*

Salary £65k - £70k

25 days of holiday
