We are looking for an Operations and eCommerce Manager to work for Dental brand in Altrincham, Cheshire
4 days office 1 Day WFH
Our client is premium dental care brand, renowned for our high-quality, dentist-developed products that blend science and luxury to enhance dental health and aesthetics.
They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations and eCommerce Manager to join our growing team, drive operational excellence, and expand our digital sales.
The operations and eCommerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business and managing the online sales strategy for our eCommerce store. This role requires someone who can efficiently streamline operations, optimize the customer experience, and grow the brand’s digital presence. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong project management skills and a passion for eCommerce.
Key Responsibilities:
eCommerce Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the eCommerce website, ensuring smooth functionality and an optimal customer experience.
Develop and execute eCommerce strategies to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and increase online revenue.
Manage product listings, ensuring that product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory are up to date.
Implement and optimize digital marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media) to increase visibility and drive sales.
Analyse web traffic, sales data, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Coordinate promotions, sales events, and new product launches to align with brand goals.
Collaborate with external agencies or partners for paid ads, website development, and other marketing initiatives.
Operations Management:
Oversee the supply chain process, including inventory management, ordering, and coordination with suppliers to ensure timely product availability.
Optimize logistics, including warehousing, shipping, and fulfilment processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including manufacturers, distributors, and shipping partners.
Monitor and improve operational efficiency, reducing costs while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
Manage budgets for both operations and eCommerce departments, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
Customer Experience:
Oversee the customer service function, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and resolving customer issues or complaints efficiently.
Continuously improve the user experience on the website, focusing on ease of navigation, quick loading times, and an intuitive checkout process.
Monitor feedback, reviews, and ratings to identify areas for improvement and act on customer insights.
Reporting & Analysis:
Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, operations, customer service, and marketing.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and implement best practices.
Prepare financial reports, tracking the profitability of operations and eCommerce activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, eCommerce, Operations Management, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in eCommerce management, operations, or a similar role.
Proven experience managing an eCommerce platform (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) and working with digital marketing tools.
Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising.
Experience with inventory management, supply chain logistics, and fulfilment processes.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing teams and external partners.
