Teaching Assistant required in Erdington. 
Smile Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Erdington who are seeking a Full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team!
Job role and responsibilities:

Supporting students across a Year 2 classroom setting.
Working closely with the class teacher to set up and prepare lesson materials.
Lead and deliver small group intervention sessions.
Provide 1:1 support where required, ensuring all individual learning needs are met.
Ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment in created.
Building positive parent partnership.
Providing clear and effective feedback to learners and the class teacher.
Monitoring and tracking student progress alongside the class teacher.
Adhering securely to schools safeguarding and behaviour management procedures.This role is ideal for you if:

You hold a minimum of a Level 2 supporting teaching and learning qualification.
You have effective experience as a teaching assistant in a KS1 environment.
You hold strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
You have led phonics interventions previously.
