We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients Maintenance and Engineering Department, supporting asset care across a range of plant machinery. This dynamic role requires expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, ensuring production efficiency and product quality by performing real-time adjustments and monitoring equipment.
Working Hours: Continental Shift pattern
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure safe and efficient operations in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
* Diagnose, investigate, and resolve plant issues to minimise downtime and disruptions.
* Provide post-repair support to production teams for continuous and efficient operations.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise line performance.
* Perform routine maintenance and ensure a clean, organised work environment.
* Conduct regular equipment inspections and adjustments for peak functionality.
* Maintain product quality standards throughout engineering activities.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong technical engineering skills with relevant industry experience.
* Qualifications such as GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC are preferred.
* Proactive mindset with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating initiative and motivation.
