About the Technical Assistant job

Reporting to the Technical Manager as a key team member, you will leverage your expertise in technical management systems to ensure all products meet expected standards and maintain constant audit readiness.

Key tasks

* Produce and maintain internal and customer specifications, and manage specifications, artwork, and packaging portals.

* Oversee the supplier approval system and manage the internal audit schedule.

* Serve as HACCP Team Leader and lead the monthly Quality Review meeting.

* Contribute to the site’s technical strategy and vision and oversee the annual culture survey.

About You

* BRCGS Food Safety compliance and audit protocol.

* Minimum of Food Safety & HACCP – both Level 3.

* Internal auditing experience.

The Technical Assistant job (ref:8803) is based in York and is paying up to £33,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 28 days annual leave and a staff benefit scheme.

The site is in York and is commutable from Leeds, Harrogate, Selby, Wetherby, Malton, Thirsk, Ripon.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
