One of my local government clients is looking for a Gardener driver in the North London area.

Role will be to maintain grass verges in the Borough and maintaining green spaces on some of the Borough’s roads and Housing estates. This role is very varied and will often require travelling all over the Borough.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self motivated individuals with the following skills and experience.

* Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential.

* Minimum plant knowledge is desirable

* Basic horticultural machinery knowledge is desirable

* Understanding of Health & Safety is essential

* Driving licence allowing up to 3.5 tonne (transit tipper) - essential, preferably with experience driving in a London Borough.

* Ability to take and understand clear instructions

* Ability to work in all weather conditions

* Ability to complete physical tasks unsupervised

* Customer Care experience / dealing with public
