TEXO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join the maintenance team of one of our external clients based in Blyth, Northumberland.

You will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Maintenance work on Electrical Services, Systems, Plant and Equipment (Planned and Breakdown), in addition to Electrical Installation works in accordance with current regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* This is predominantly a day shift position; however, you will be required to work shifts and weekends when necessary.

* Overtime will also be required to cover the needs of the business.

* Due to the nature of the business, you will need to be flexible with a can do attitude.

* You will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of cargos. Therefore, the successful candidates will be required to learn all aspects of Stevedoring including operating plant & equipment where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* This client has an array of cargo handling equipment that includes FLT, Cranes & Heavy Plant; experience of working with these types of equipment both mechanically and electrically would be an advantage.

* This client is located across four sites, so a full driving license is essential.

* Electrical NVQ / HNC
