Smile Education are currently recuiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary school based in Wolverhampton on a full time long term basis with the potential of being needed until the end of the academic year. This partciular school support students with EHCP plans and all students have a variety of needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, EBD, SLD, MLD and challening behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs.
Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the well-being and progress of students.
Implement behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours.
Support students in developing essential life skills.Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
Hold a minimum of a Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
Understanding of ASD, ADHD, Complex needs, and challenging behaviour.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning.About the School:
