Due to continued growth an opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled engineer is available to join my client’s engineering team. They are a specialist machine builder who have customers both UK and abroad. Their ideal candidate will have proven experience in a production machine service/installation environment and be willing to travel.

Service Engineer role:
The successful Service Engineer will be workshop based, report to the Service Manager and be responsible for:
Machine builds
Testing machinery to specification.
Fault finding on 3 phase equipment.
Wiring machinery following technical drawings
Liaising with the drawing office on solutions to issues.
Testing and fault finding in pneumatic systems.
Pre power panel checks.
Fabricating metal parts.
Training will be given to the right applicant

Service Engineer requirement:
Proven experience within a field service or maintenance engineering environment is essential.
Educated to a relevant electro/mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent
Willing to travel UK and abroad when required
Knowledge of machine controls PLCs, A.C drive controls

Service Engineer salary:
Salary base up to £35k (OTE £40k+)
Overtime available plus benefits.
