An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Business Support Lead to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients to provide comprehensive, professional, and efficient administrative support to the Account Director and senior leadership team.
This role ensures the smooth operation of daily activities by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion. Additionally, the position involves offering administrative assistance to various business departments as needed, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the organisation. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a high level of organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing full administrative support to Account Director and all senior leadership team.
* Direct the work of two administrators, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality administrative support and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
* Diary management, scheduling calls / meetings etc.
* Task management, ensuring team work load comprising regular and reactive tasks is carried out to highest standard and agreed deadlines.
* Coordination of appropriate projects for the senior leadership team and extended business.
* Analysing and presenting information in various formats, e.g. spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and written reports.
Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
* Background or relevant qualification in Administration preferable.
* IT literate with advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate:
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to extract, collate and present performance data relevant to the business.
* Confident liaising and communicating at senior level.
* Experience in developing strong working relationships with colleagues.
