We are currently seeking a Learning Mentor to join a dynamic and supportive school in Northfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on the educational development of young learners. The position is available for an ASAP start and is a long-term role, offering stability and growth within a friendly and professional environment.

Key details of the role include:

Hours: 8:20 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Delivering targeted interventions
Checking in with children to offer support
Assisting with behaviour management
A great chance to make a real impact on students development and well-being.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, both inside and outside the classroom.
Support students with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, and emotional needs.
Motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Work closely with teaching staff to identify individual student needs and implement strategies for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities.
Track and report on student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents.
What we are looking for:

Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students and staff.
Ability to work as part of a team while also using your initiative.
A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
