We're looking for a National Account Manager to take on an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain key national accounts. This role involves travel across the UK and overseas, managing vital customer and supplier relationships in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Account Development - Build and nurture strong customer relationships, achieving volume and profitability targets within your sector.
Business Growth - Lead efforts to secure new accounts while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
Strategic Leadership - Partner with the team to design and implement a growth plan tailored to your territory.
Sales & Marketing - Collaborate with the Business Development team to create impactful promotional materials for your accounts.
Financial Management - Oversee budgets to ensure profitability and contribute to tender submissions with competitive pricing strategies.
Credit & Compliance - Work with Credit Control to evaluate potential customers and ensure all operations comply with Health & Safety, legal, and company policies.
Exceptional Service - Deliver top-notch customer service to foster long-term relationships and satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a motivated, entrepreneurial professional with extensive experience in the Fresh & Frozen Poultry sector and a strong track record in profitable sales within both established and emerging markets.
You’ll Shine If You Have:
Proven success in achieving profitable sales in wholesale and commercial markets.
In-depth knowledge of the poultry industry and its unique dynamics.
A knack for identifying customer needs and maximizing sales opportunities.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to act on financial data.
The ability to inspire and engage customers and colleagues alike.
A portfolio of existing wholesale and commercial trading clients (highly desirable).
