Job Advert: Bid Manager – Structural Steel (Bournemouth)

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading structural steel company based in Bournemouth. Reporting directly to the Bid Director, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist company delivering steel projects valued up to £20 million.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the bid process from start to finish, ensuring the submission of high-quality, competitive tenders

* Working closely with the Bid Director to develop winning strategies

* Collaborating with Estimators, Project Managers, and Design teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing

* Managing client relationships and working to secure new business

Knowledge and Experience:

* Previous experience as a Bid Manager, Estimator, or relevant knowledge through Project Management or Design roles

* Experience working with a specialist steelwork contractor

* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
