JOB - Project Engineer
LOCATION - Northampton
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Northampton that is looking to hire a mechanically biased Project Engineer. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical engineering experience and a background in managing engineering projects.

The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
Strong mechanical engineering background with experience in project engineering.
Experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, machining, and assembly.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office is desirable.The Project Engineer role will involve:

Managing mechanical engineering projects from design through to production and installation.
Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
Working closely with design, manufacturing, and installation teams.
Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Identifying and resolving technical and engineering challenges.
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
