Housing Outreach Officer

£20 an hour

3 month contract (with likely to be extended)

Undertake out of hours work including some evenings and weekends

Sellick Partnership are currently supporting the recruitment of a Housing Outreach Officer on an ongoing temporary basis. The Housing Outreach Officer will provide a supportive outreach response for rough sleepers

Key Responsibilities of the Housing Outreach Officer will include:

You will be responsible for conducting outreach work across the city to verify, engage and support rough sleepers.
To follow up individuals sleeping rough and liaise with partner agencies to deliver multi-agency reports and interventions
To be able to adapt working practises to work with vulnerable people both on the streets and within accommodation.
To carry a case load of clients, ensuring they are effectively supported and this is followed up with effective casework management including client centred support plans, risk assessments and needs assessments.
To provide information and advice on support services available and provide assistance in exploring various housing options.The successful Housing Outreach Office will have:

Driving license and access to a car
Enhanced DBS
