Summary:
My client has over 50 years' experience in the design and manufacture of switch mode AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies for use in harsh and demanding military and industrial environments. Other high reliability products include uninterruptible power supplies, battery backup and conditioning as well as PoE power solutions.
Offering custom, semi-custom and standard COTS (commercial off the shelf) power supplies and converters, they offer complete power solutions from early conceptual design, using the latest circuit simulation and 3D design tools, to product manufacturing and in service support.

Description:
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader, The PCB Inspector is a key part of the operations structure, acting as key support for the Quality Assurance Team & is expected to operate within the framework of objectives and targets determined by Management but with the latitude to pursue initiatives that will enable the department targets to be achieved.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Inspection of PCB assemblies, of both surface mount and conventional through hole components, mechanical assemblies and final goods.
* Recording inspection results in the appropriate documentation.
* Assist with First Article Inspection
* Identify and communicate quality problems with management team.
* Assist in the resolution of quality-related problems.
* Provide QA support as necessary.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
Education / Experience:
Requirements:
* Must have Industry Standard Inspection Qualifications (IPC-A-610).
* Reading & understanding Complex Engineering Drawings & Instructions.
Desirable:
* Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
* Be able to work under own initiative to solve problems.
* Previous experience with PCB inspection
* Good time management skills.
* Calm and collected with the ability to work under pressure.
* Structured and logical approach to problem-solving.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Hours of Work: 38 hours per week, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm with half hour lunch break from Monday through Thursday and 8.30 am to 12.30 pm on Fridays.
* Pension: Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme. Company’s contribution 5% of basic salary, employee contribution a minimum of 4% of basic salary
