Supply Desk are collaborating with a dynamic and supportive primary school in Henfield, West Sussex. They are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for all pupils, and they are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join them on a temporary, supply basis.

About the role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and enhancing the learning experience of pupils. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on children's education while gaining valuable experience in a primary school setting.

The Candidate:

Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
Assist the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson preparation
Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning activities as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings
