Your new role
Owing to a healthy pipeline of exciting highway drainage, flood alleviation and SuDS design projects, they are now looking for a civil engineer in the water sector to assist with project delivery and management ensuring new commissions are delivered to the highest possible standard.
You will:
* Help to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
* Work on the design and modelling of water designs, SuDS designs and hydraulic models
* Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing drainage conditions and identify opportunities for SuDS implementation.
* Produce of drawings (AutoCAD) and (Civil3D)
* Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for SuDS components, detailing design calculations and construction requirements.
About you
As a Water and SuDS Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing sustainable drainage strategies for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal developments.
* This role would suit someone who has:
* Experience in highways drainage or in design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Strong CAD skills (and Civils 3D experience preferred)
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
