We are working with one of the Worlds largest manufacturers of Food Processing Equipment. With 100 Engineers in the UK, and employing over 7,000 Worldwide, you will find their equipment in nearly every Food Factory. Whether it’s ingredient processing, mixing, weighing or packaging, they have a solution ready to go.
The business is very proud of their home grown talent, with a strong track record of developing and nurturing their staff’s skills, and they are now looking for their next batch of budding Field Service Engineers to join their UK Engineering Team.
The Opportunity
The Engineering Team are divided into Product Specific Teams who focus on the Service, Installation and Commissioning of their specific equipment. As part of your training, you will spend time out with the Service Team, and at their UK and Germany based Training Centres learning all aspects of the role.
At the end of the training period, which typically lasts 6 months, you will hold recognised Supplier Service Qualifications, with further specialist courses and certificates to be gained.
Not only this, as you complete your certificates and increase your range of skills, your Salary will be adjusted to reflect your growing skillset. Starting Salaries range from £35,000 to £40,000, with the ability to increase your Salary to £55,000.
As this is a Field based position, there will be frequent nights away (3 weeks out of 10) so you will need the flexibility to travel and stay away when required.
The Candidate
* Must have completed an Electrical Engineering Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, or Equivalent)
* Must hold a valid UK Driving License
* Must hold a valid Passport
* Must be willing to travel UK wide and stay away when required
