Mewsons are partnered with a UK leading Architectural specialist who are recruiting a site based Architect for a multi-million pound project they are completing in Derby.

The role will involve working as an Architect to provide architectural design services and project management for a commercial / manufacturing project set to last 10+ years.

New Year start.

Role requirements:

* Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans.

* Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.

* Monitoring the work of other Architects.

* Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.

* Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.

* Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.

* Networking and consulting with various industry professionals.

* Take ownership of projects from inception to completion.

* Undertake tendering process and post tender analysis, including production of tender report to client and potential value engineering exercise and make recommendations to client.

Requirements:

* BA/MA Degree (or equivalent) focused in Architecture.

* Proven experience working as an Architect.

* Must have a strong technical background ideally within commercial or manufacturing architecture projects.

* Ability to commute to site. (Flexibility around site/home based working).

* In depth understanding of CAD, AutoCAD and Revit software.
