Electrical Project Engineer [MEICA] - Exeter
We are working aside one of the largest and most successful UK-based construction and engineering companies with a long history in delivering infrastructure and building projects across various sectors, currently seeking new MEICA skilled staff, including an Electrical Project Engineer for the South West, to join their MEICA team in Exeter.
 
This role is ideal for someone with a background in electrical engineering or MEICA based infrastructure projects within the UK, ideally experience working on various waste water projects or as a part of a UK water framework. My client is only interested in working to the highest standards within construction & infrastructure, seeking likeminded individuals who are eager to be a part of a large 5-year framework (South West Water).

Daily Duties of an Electrical Project Engineer:

Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from inception through to completion
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
Reviewing of subcontractors designs in accordance with SWW Standards, for buildability, operation and maintenance
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while meeting quality and compliance standards
Provide technical support and guidance throughout project delivery, including resolving issues as they arise
Manage client communications and present project updates to stakeholders
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and other team members What you'll need to succeed as an Electrical Project Engineer:

BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, MEICA training or a related discipline
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally within building services, MEICA or infrastructure projects
Desirable: SMSTS, SSSTS & an EUSR Blue Card
Experience managing project teams and coordinating between various stakeholders
Familiarity with industry-standard design software (Revit, AutoCAD, or similar) is highly beneficial
Understanding of waste water and related MEICA engineering, experience on water frameworks is ideal
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
An understanding of project financials, contracts, and risk management
