The role: What you’ll actually do
Partner with managers across the business—not to do the job for them, but to ensure they’re doing it right. This is not a hand-holding role; we expect you to push back and drive accountability.
Work alongside our recruiter to attract and retain the very best talent, ensuring a smooth journey from hiring to thriving.
Turn induction into an inspiring launch pad, not a box-ticking exercise.
Support managers with everything from development plans to disciplinary actions, always with an eye for what's best for the people, not just the process.
Ensure learning and development programs aren’t just 'nice to haves,' but critical tools for our growth.
Handle departures with dignity, ensuring the last impression is as positive as the first.
What you'll need to make it as our People Business Partner
5+ years’ proven experience within a transferable HR/People role where you've done more than just follow the script.
A CIPD qualification, level 5 or above is desirable.
A strong working knowledge of Employment Law and how to navigate complex issues.
The courage to challenge managers when needed and the skill to bring them onside.
A genuine understanding of what it takes to create a people-first culture.
An understanding of data protection and GDPR requirements when handling sensitive personal data.

The Nitty-Gritty:
Full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week.
Based in Solihull, with a flexible hybrid working policy (at least 4 days a week in the office)
No weekend work – we're all about a healthy work-life balance.
BPSS clearance is required for this role.
