Are you passionate about helping people? Then take a look at this opportunity to join our team as a Personal Wellbeing Coach!

Working as part of our Personal Wellbeing Team, you’ll support offenders both in custody and as they reintegrate into society. Focusing on their wellbeing and lifestyle, you’ll provide a tailored service ensuring they have the skills and confidence they need to live successfully in the community. You’ll give in-depth advice and support, so we’ll need your ability to motivate others and facilitate learning to change attitudes and behaviour, with the aim to avoid the possibility of re-offending.

You’ll be on hand to provide a warm and welcoming experience to help them in their first steps into reintegration. Acting as an advocate, you’ll also ensure their voices are heard and that they have support in making decisions.

Our successful candidate will ideally have lived experience of the criminal justice system (as an ex-service user) or will have worked as a peer mentor within a prison/probation environment, however we are mainly looking for someone with an engaging personality who is comfortable working with a variety of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity that will allow you to utilise your skills to influence, support and encourage others to maximise their potential to build a better future.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary of £24,650 up to £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Birthday Day off (with the opportunity to buy an additional 5 days)
2 Volunteer Days
