Vetro Education is seeking to recruit a School Site Supervisor to work in a Secondary School in Cardiff with an immediate start. The role is full time (39.5 hours per week) and previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, Vetro Education will allow you to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.

Title: School Site Supervisor
Pay: £13.75 per hour (inc 12.07% holiday pay)
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 39.5 hours per week - Monday 12pm-730pm, Tuesday 12pm-830pm, Wednesday 12pm-730pm, Thursday 12pm to 9pm, Friday 12pm-7pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a School Site Supervisor

Securing the school buildings and setting the intruder alarms.
Supporting the cleaning staff by moving stock and assisting with cleaning duties.
Minor maintenance as required.
Disposal of general and recycled waste to main refuse area.
Delivering received goods to staff throughout the school.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the school, empty litter bins and keep drains free of litter and leaves.
Replenish toilet rolls , soap and blue towels in Staff and Pupil WCs as required.
Escort contractors across site as necessary.
The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a School Site Supervisor

Confidence and competence of meeting and greeting visitors to the school
Being able to work independently and as part of the wider team
Proactive work ethic with a "can do" attitude
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
