Managing Director UK - International Organisation - North of England (with UK travel) - £100k-£140k + Flexible Benefits

We are on the hunt for an experienced Commercial / Operations / Managing Director to join an international organisation as their Managing Director UK.

Joining a highly successful company, you will lead the growth, management and daily operations for the UK, strengthening its market position in the UK and establishing growth opportunities.

Reporting directly to the international board and working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will be the operational and commercial leader in the UK.

We’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience and success in similar roles with both operational and commercial responsibilities. You will be a strong leader with a strategic mindset and solid financial/analytical insight and you will have an impressive track record of driving commercial and operational growth.

If you happen to also have fluent Dutch, it will be the icing on the cake!

Key responsibilities as the Managing Director will include:

* Managing the daily operations and performance of the UK business

* Developing strategic sales plans

* Strategically driving commercial and operational growth

* Expanding the market position of the organisation throughout the UK

* Leading, managing and motivating a team of professionals to ensure they reach full potential

* Managing budgets and financial reporting

* Analysing market trends and competitors

* Building and maintaining relationships with key clients

* Ensuring the UK business maintains compliance with laws and regulations

What we’re looking for:

* Demonstrable success in similar operational and commercial management roles ideally within industrial organisations

* Strong leadership and management capabilities

* Strategic mindset with a commercial and operational outlook

* Impressive track record of driving commercial and operational growth

* Decisive and strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities

* Analytical and proactive problem solving capabilities

* Flexible, dynamic and driven

* Desire to work in a progressive, dynamic and international organisation

* IT literate

* Driving licence and ability to travel in the UK

* Fluency in Dutch is highly advantageous
