As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role within the management team and contribute significantly to the home's daily operations. In this position, you’ll assist the Home Manager by overseeing staff scheduling, annual leave planning, training assignments, and attendance tracking. You'll lead the clinical team, coordinate with local authorities and social services, and conduct clinical assessments. You’ll also manage daily leadership reports and participate in operational review meetings. Building positive relationships with residents, their loved ones, and the team will be key to your role. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to the team during both working hours and, when required, through an on-call arrangement. In the Home Manager’s absence, you will assume responsibility for the service.
A valid NMC pin and qualification as a Registered General Nurse or Mental Health Nurse, along with experience in a nursing home setting, are essential.
