Through the daily application of our core values – integrity, respect, excellence, passion and care – our goal is to delight our customers by giving excellent service, whilst providing a stimulating and rewarding working environment for our employees to thrive in.
The Role:
As a part of the Rolling Stock Engineering team, you will be involved and successfully deliver a wide variety of maintenance engineering projects. The key focus of activity will be maintenance optimisation, helping clients such as Train Operators or Rolling Stock Leasing Companies to develop maintenance and overhaul manuals, extend or optimise schedules, condition-based maintenance or justify continued service operation of assets. Essential Skills/Knowledge:
* Proven background in Rolling Stock Maintenance or Fleet Engineering and project delivery, for example - Engineering department of a Maintenance Provider, Train Operator or Rolling Stock Leasing Company.
* Experience of working in the depot environment.
* Experience of applying professional engineering judgement to support engineering projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Requirements:
* Engineering Degree (BEng or MEng) or equivalent preferred
* Knowledge of engineering safety management and its application within the railway environment or equivalent would be an advantage.
An AEGIS engineer is one who combines excellent technical skills with a commitment to deliver first class service to our clients, whilst living the values and culture of the business – conscientiousness, respect, integrity, excellence and fun
