Associate Lecturer - Media
Location: Old Trafford, Manchester
Salary: Teaching £35 per hour, prep £20 per hour
Hours of Teaching: 9am – 1pm, Mon, Tues, Thursday, Friday
Job Type: Contract, 6 Weeks
The Role
As an Associate Lecturer, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver engaging and innovative teaching sessions, tailored to meet the diverse needs of the Media students. You will create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment, offering valuable insights drawn from your industry experience. This is a fantastic chance to inspire and empower a new generation of media professionals from all backgrounds!
You will be delivering a dynamic module on Communication Techniques and Creating Content (CTCC), covering:
* Narratives
* Scripting
* Camera skills and techniques
* Documentary Production
* Planning and Production
* Video Editing
Skills and Qualifications
* A strong background in Media, with practical industry experience.
* Previous teaching experience is valued, though they welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on inclusivity.
* A passion for mentoring and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.
