Embrace Associates is excited to advertise a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a nationwide construction main contractor based in Yorkshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, this company are experiencing a significant growth period with a lengthy order book. This represents a unique opportunity to join a business that will enable you to personally develop alongside the business growth.

You will play a key role in managing projects simultaneously, depending on their size (expected up to £10m). You will oversee all commercial and contractual requirements, ensuring sound financial performance and the preparation of accurate monthly cost reports. This role requires a thorough understanding of main and subcontract accounts, making you integral to the financial health of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Main contract Final Account settlement

Cost forecasting

Legal and contractual compliance

Negotiation of main and subcontract costs

Subcontract variation and change management

Subcontract final account settlement

Holding pre-let meetings and producing minutes

CVR reporting

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Strong knowledge of main and subcontract accounts

Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

Excellent negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Willingness to travel to sites as required
