Your typical day might start by ensuring compliance with all relevant building and safety regulations, followed by a project planning session with colleagues to discuss recent legislative changes impacting fire remediation. Later, you could be reviewing regulatory reports, updating compliance records, and advising stakeholders on fire safety obligations across various properties.
As a Fire Remediation Legal Compliance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of Peabody’s properties. Working within a dynamic team, you’ll oversee all aspects of fire remediation compliance, including regulatory guidance, asset management, risk assessments, and comprehensive lease reviews. Every day will bring variety, as you coordinate compliance frameworks, update property data, and collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance fire safety standards.
You’re detail-oriented and proactive, adept at problem-solving within a regulated environment. You work well independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships across the business to drive compliance initiatives. You’ll be in the office 1-2 days a week, with flexibility to work remotely for the rest of your time.
Your role encompasses all aspects of fire remediation compliance, from maintaining a detailed title hierarchy to conducting legislative reviews and creating guidance for Peabody’s teams. To succeed in this role, you are:
* Experienced in compliance, governance, or a legal setting with strong organisational skills
* Detail-focused, with a deep understanding of regulatory processes, including Land Registry Titles and building safety standards
* Proactive in solving problems, managing complex tasks, and prioritising effectively
* An effective communicator, with excellent written skills and the ability to present complex information clearly
* Adaptable and responsive to evolving legislative requirements, upholding Peabody’s high standards of compliance
