MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with an innovative, forward thinking credit hire company who provide unrivalled services to customers unfortunate enough to be involved in a motor accident.
Now in their fifteenth year of business, they are experts at what they do, keeping clients mobile and managing their claim from start to finish.
Due to significant organic growth coupled with their ongoing expansion strategy we are looking to recruit a number of motor claims handlers for different areas of our business.
The Role:
As a credit hire recovery handler you must come from a CHO, legal or insurance background having extensive experience in dealing with credit hire claims. You will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of credit hire claims maximising recoveries, minimising leakage and simultaneously upholding excellent customer services standards. You will harness and develop strong working relations with insurers and third party solicitors to expedite the settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively manage a case load of credit hire claims bringing claims to a swift and amicable conclusion.
* Negotiate settlement of credit hire, repair and other uninsured losses in a timely fashion.
* Review Payment Packs identifying areas of leakage, liaising with management to improve processes and systems where appropriate.
* Investigate and resolve liability disputes where applicable.
* Review, rebut and negotiate where rates evidence is received, maximising recoveries.
* Ensure that matters are litigated correctly and in a timely manner ensuring the cost effective measures are used to secure settlement.
* Liaise with suppliers, customers and third party’s ensuring proactive management of claims.
Qualifications, knowledge & experience
You must have a background of working within Credit Hire (claimant or defendant). You will have a thorough understanding of the pricniples of credit hire including Need, Rate and Duration along with Impecuniosity. You will also have an understanding of the GTA. Experience of handling taxi credit hire claims (GTA or non-GTA) would be advantageous. Along with this experience we expect candidates to demonstrate the following qualities:
