As a food tech teacher, the role will consist of planning and delivering captivating lessons to students in line with the curriculum along with adapting teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. You will focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking. The right candidate will need to assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role. You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.
The successful candidate must have:
A bachelor’s degree in education, food technology or a related field.
Teaching certification or QTS
Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
