We are seeking a skilled Wet Paint Sprayer to join our clients team in Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various painting techniques and tools, with the ability to work effectively in a Manufacturing environment. This role requires experience as a time served production sprayer and the capability to use power and hand tools efficiently. The sprayer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to ensure high-quality finishes on various projects.

Duties

* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.

* Mix paints and other materials according to specifications for optimal application.

* Apply paint using spray equipment while ensuring even coverage and quality finish.

* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.

* Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.

* Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed for various projects.

* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively.

* Familiarity with basic maths for mixing ratios and measurements is advantageous.

* Experience in fabricating or welding is a plus but not essential.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay / Salary

Salary will be depending on experience and result of spray test.
