Quality Systems Engineer

Location: Jarrow

Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience/qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to join an established business looking to expand its team.

What you will be doing:

* Contribute towards maintaining and improving department and business performance

* Lead the development and embedding of the QMS system and customer requirements

* Lead customer & 3rd party audit preparation and audits, developing and driving improvement plans

* Lead internal auditing (safety, systems, processes, etc.), including the non-conformance management

* Implement and facilitate the change management process

* Manage the document control system

* Liaison with external parties (customers, suppliers, etc.)

What you will bring to the team:

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality role.

* Experienced with working to maintain quality management system

* Experienced of working to ISO9001 standard.

* You will have an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification

* Computer skills i.e. Excel / Power point

* Experience with 8D problem solving.

* Experience dealing with internal and external non-conformances.
