LB Design Recruitment are working with a practice that specialises in residential development for a broad range of clients including local, regional and national developers.

They have two roles available and are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist and a Junior / Graduate Architectural Technologist. Both roles are within the design team and will be responsible for assisting with the technical design for the various stages of the project from scheme design to construction drawings.

The experienced Architectural Technologist will need:

* To be qualified to HNC/D level or above.

* A minimum of 4 years UK based experience in a similar role.

* Good construction knowledge (Building Regulations, NHBC, British Standards, Codes of Practice and similar statutory legislation) for the production of working drawings.

* Proficient in AutoCAD.

The Junior Architectural Technologist will need:

* A Trainee Building Design Professional, undergoing (or will attend or has attended) a recognised and appropriate part time college course.

* A basic knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, British Standards etc.

* Some knowledge of AutoCAD.

* A team player with good communication skills.

* A good attitude, conscientious and willing to learn all aspects of architecture.

They are both full-time office based roles. The junior role is a great opportunity for recent graduates with a relevant degree and a strong passion for architectural design. Training and mentorship will be provided. Salary will be dependant on experience.
