Staffline are keen to speak with experienced Transport Shift Leaders, FLM's, Supervisors. This vacancy is to supervise and lead the Transport Night shift operations

Do you have strong leadership skills?
Do you have excellent organisational skills?
Can you prioritise and have the ability to re-prioritise, due to Customer changes?
Do you have a solid understanding of planning and transportation management?

In your role as the Transport shift Leader:

You will be responsible for managing transport issues, operations and supervising staff and drivers during shift

Duties include:

Managing transport issues and upholding client's SLA with their customer.
Improving processes and addressing non-conformance.
Ensuring staff and drivers are fully trained, to the client's exacting standards in areas like health and safety, assessments, and compliance.
Implementing the client's training strategies for staff and drivers.
Staying updated on VOSA/DSA compliance changes.
Coordinating with planning
Maintaining drivers' fuel-efficient driving
Managing driver infringements and lead-in time violations using Tachomaster.

To be considered for the Transport Shift Leader

Able to work permanent night shift, Monday-Friday 10pm-6am
Experience in a transport environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
Experience in process improvement and handling non-conformance issues.
Familiarity with operations, transport planning, and coordination.
Proficiency in using management software
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
Experience in maintaining service level agreements
CPC Qualification-Advantageous
Hours of work-Earlies & Late shifts rotating

Salary £30,750 plus shift allowance £36,900
