Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Location: Centre based

Salary: £32,000 

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2 to learners undertaking Apprenticeship qualifications.
Identify and provide additional learning support to learners with identified learning difficulties and disabilities.
Design and deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.Essential Criteria:

Must be a qualified and experienced Functional Skills Tutor.
Must have experience of delivering face-to-face learning.
Must hold own Functional Skills in Maths and English / GCSE equivalents.
Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
The successful candidate must be engaging, and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and teach learners.
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.Please note:
