Overview

Our customer is a dynamic and innovative motorsport engineeting business, specialising in the design and manufacture of high-performance components, acting as a key supplier partner to various race series around the world.

The Role

As the Head of Operations, you will be a key member of the management team, responsible for ensuring operational excellence while contributing to the strategic direction of the business. You will lead and mentor the operations team, manage resources efficiently, and develop robust processes to support our mission of exceptional quality and timely delivery.

Key Tasks

* Create and maintain comprehensive production, service, and R&D plans.

* Oversee BOM (Bill of Materials) management, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering changes.

* Coordinate logistics and maintain daily shipment logs to ensure on-time delivery.

* Develop and enforce quality systems to meet organizational and industry standards.

* Support and coach the operations team to enhance individual and collective performance.

Skills & Qualifications

* Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a low volume batch production engineering environment.

* Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail.

* Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong internal and external relationships.

* Proficiency in ERP systems and operational workflows.

* A qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
