We’re on the lookout for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a fantastic team of 10 engineers. Our client, a leading food manufacturer, offers an invigorating work environment with both older and cutting-edge machinery. With over £58 million in plant investment and a new line over the last 2 years, there’s no shortage of intriguing challenges to test your problem-solving skills!

As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities include:

Carrying out reactive maintenance and PPM's.

Using both your electrical and mechanical skill set.

Diagnosing faults to find the root cause of breakdowns.

Supporting continuous improvement projects on site.

Working efficiently with the production team to minimise downtime.

The qualifications & skills required to become a Maintenance Engineer:

A minimum of a level 3 maintenance engineer (electrical bias) C&G NVQ, BTEC

Understanding of SCADA control systems.

PLC fault finding experience would be an advantage

Multi-skilled with an electrical bias.

Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
